CMU Block Walls: Structural, Site & Fence

CMU Blocks

Where Do I Start?

Structural block starts with the plans. We take off block, lintels, dowels, reinforced cells and grout from the foundation plan and wall sections, and we build to the engineer’s spacing. For site walls and fences, we’ll walk the property, confirm permit and setback rules, and design the footing for the wall height.

Is it a Good Fit for Me?

CMU is the Florida standard for wind and flood resistance. Choose it for a house shell, an addition, a garage, or a perimeter wall that has to outlast wood and vinyl.

Options That Save Money

Rough-face block on site and fence walls adds texture and can cost less than a stucco finish.
